  • ok, so it seems i'll only be writing when i'm at work. hehe, when at lunch of course. since i got my gums lasered away on the left side of my mouth on saturday and then my wisdom tooth pulled out on sunday, i ventured out to buy some kfc mashed potatoes (insanely overpriced) and red mango (100x better than pinkberry ) frozen yogurt with watermelon on top but then i put it in the freezer so i have frozen watermelon cubes now  so... summer is almost over and it felt like it slipped by so quickly but i do have to say i love the dwindling mosquito population.. and of course i can't wait until my thailand/hong kong trip

okayy so i finally got a new bedroom light after going into every lighting store on grand.. this is the chandelier i originally wanted..
    01-25-08_1708
but it's too much and too expensive so i got a not-so-sparkly ceiling light that still has crystals.... i picked pink and white alternating crystals on the inside with green crystal leaves on the outside hehe

    cocon
thesis is of course stressing me out but i kinda like my textiles as text class.. the professor passed around real silk worm cocoons (above) which was pretty cool yet creepy for me since they were dead..

    lastly...

disney world in march yayyyy i can' wait to see the wishes nighttime spectacular and go on my favorite ride it's a small world  and also go to animal kingdom hehe

    next possibilities....

    Moab
"You may not be Harrison Ford, but you can still be the star of your own desert adventure movie with a trip to Moab, Utah. Your first scene should be at the set of Arches National Park, home to the world's greatest concentration of natural arches. Explore Canyonlands National Park and hike, four-wheel, and rock climb in this red rock landscape. Take the high ground with an airplane tour of Monument Valley or skydive over the breathtaking canyon country. Show off your nautical skills with a rafting trip down the Colorado River. Finish off your with a Canyonlands by Night boat tour on the Colorado River."

    Tampa
"Ready to graduate from beach-themed Spring Breaks, but don't want to give up the ocean completely? Head to Tampa Bay for a trip filled with historic architecture, exotic wildlife, and fun in the sun. Start at the Henry B. Plant Museum, known for its Moorish architecture, Victorian artifacts, and tropical gardens. Take a streetcar to Ybor City, a historic district filled with Mediterranean-inspired theatres, museums, and shops. For local wildlife, visit Lettuce Lake Park, a pristine area with 700-year-old cypress trees, alligators, egrets and herons. When you're ready some saltwater, pick from fifteen beaches in the area. Make sure to visit Treasure Island, known as the Sand Sculpture Capital of Florida. Stay clear of Clearwater Beach (no pun intended) if you want to avoid the college spring break crowd."

    also, things that happened today...
i lost my wallet and freaked out when i found out during break in class.. professor said to be back by 4:05..
justin and i rush downstiars.. he goes to get coffee while i panic and ask the security guard and of course i have to go out the building and into it again through another entrance..
    me: i lost my wallet!
    guard:  u britney?
    me: no, brietta
guard: yeah, the guard before brought it over to lost & found at 55 w 13th (3 blocks and 1.5 avnues away)
me: sprinting over there and taking the time out to pop into two stores to wildly search for justin who said he would look for me after.. couldn't find him so i rushed all the way over to the lost & found, signed a form and got my wallet back (yay!) and then rush back to class, taking off my coat halfway there even though it was pretty chilly out cuz im sweating my ass off.... get back to class.. and the teacher is lecturing already but my cell phone is ringing (and im sure it's justin because he was horrifically still missing) so i grab it and go outside while everyoneee is staring at me  (including the professor but i dont care because i have to find/save justin).. justin doesnt answer the phone so i rush to the bathroom to get a paper towel for my sweatiness. justin comes out of the elevator right as im pacing around there and we hurry back to class (justin didn't know which floor our class was on........ he finally luckily got off the 7th floor after trying the 11th and also the 10th lol) i felt like crap when i sat back down (in the front row of course -justin chose those seats) not just because i was dying from sweat but because the professor specifically said no going in and out of the classroom since it's distractive and all cell phones off (justin called me 3 times total, which means it was playing greenday at its loudest while she was lecturing because i didnt take my cell with me).. we got back to class at around 4:20ish..so embarassing.. but i tried to explain at the end so i hope it's alright.. reason why i couldnt retrieve my phone after class is because i had to head to hotel QT to help pearl work at an event there for stylecareers  which was pretty cool heh

oh and my thesis professor lent me the book below because he said it would help my project and let me borrow it... i'm about halfway through and it's actually really really interesting... wish i had a pf machine..

  • love this...

congratulations jason! hehe both for graduating and for leaving with a 4.0. hmpf..i was so close.. one grade shy of getting six A's.. and i think this was the last semester i have the chance to since thesis is probably going to kill me... it's also my last summer ever. which is a little depressing, especially since this summer im only free on weekends since i decided to do two internships, three days being a product development assistant at dreamwear (lingerie company) and two days as a buying intern at abc home (home decor store), which is nice because i love their mission and store but it's unpaid however, it's kinda exciting because i will continue at dreamwear throughout my senior year and then get the chance to work full time there after graduation..it's kinda strange though that so many asian girls are working there when it's not an asian company; i wanna find out if it's a coincidence..
